Accent Research and Training

accent clinical services are committed to providing services that are evidence based and driven to achieve positive health outcomes.  accent offers a range of training programmes as well as actively researches clinical issues impacting upon service delivery and service development.

 

Research projects currently being undertaken in accent clinical services includes:

  • C-PAC (client, professional and attendant care) model of case management.
  • Case management indicators for complex clients.
  • Accommodation procurement for community clients.
  • Clinical reasoning in Accent.

accent clinical services also provides education and training programmes for people who have an injury, people who provide care (gratuitous or paid), funding bodies and community services to improve health outcomes. Training, wellbeing and health promotion programmes are offered for individuals and groups and can be tailored to the need of a facility.

  • Attendant care training & models of care provision for the complex client.
